/Who Am I

I am a marketing analyst, primarily focused on sales channels. I have experience in new sales channel development, creating long-term strategic product & services plans and conducting feasibility studies.

I have been involved in make-or-buy analyses, vendor selection and procurement processes with senior management both technically (RFI & RFP) and commercially.

As side duty; I created a virtual reality (VR) platform for Turkish Airlines Corporate Club -B2B loyalty program- from scratch with my personal initiative. Additionally, I am a part-time lecturer at Turkish Airlines Aviation Academy on “Airline Marketing”.

I enjoy reading and researching about marketing and disruptive business models.

Responsible for product management and business development for Turkish Airlines ticket sales channels in collaboration with cross-functional teams and IT vendors. Leading of vendor selection processes for a $3M+ budgeted procurement for new sales channel development. Managed and involved many projects on commercial side; in one project, more than $500k/year saving achieved by automating multiple ticket changes via eliminating miscalculations. Closely monitoring market, trends, competitors and new technologies to convert them to insights for the company. Participating in international industrial events and standard setting activities led by International Air Transport Association (IATA) on airline retailing - New Distribution Capability (NDC) & One Order initiatives.
