About Me

/Who Am I

I’m a senior specialist on e-commerce sales systems and distribution channels with 5 years of experience. I have been working for Turkish Airlines which is the airline that flies to the most countries in the world.

Currently, I’m acting as a digital product manager for Turkish Airlines core ticket sales system’s management activities.

In my previous role in the company, I gained expertise in strategic planning and developing long-term roadmaps for digital sales channels. I’ve led RFI & RFP studies and vendor selection processes for new sales channel development project on the commercial side. As side duty, I created a virtual reality (VR) platform for Turkish Airlines Corporate Club -B2B loyalty program- from scratch. The CEO of Turkish Airlines sent me a congratulation certificate after this project.

I have B.S. in industrial engineering and M.Sc. in marketing management degrees. During my undergraduate, I spent a semester in Hungary with Erasmus exchange programme. I enjoy reading and researching about marketing technologies and disruptive new business models.

Responsible for product management and business development for Turkish Airlines ticket sales system in collaboration with cross-functional teams and IT vendors. Leading role in creating awareness, conducting make or buy analyses and carrying out supplier selection processes (RFI, RFP and commercial) for multimillion-dollar new sales channel development project. Managed and involved many projects on commercial side; in one project, more than $500k/year saving achieved. Closely monitoring market, trends, competitors and new technologies to report them as actionable insights to top management. Participating in international industrial events and standard setting activities led by International Air Transport Association (IATA) on airline retailing - New Distribution Capability (NDC) & One Order initiatives.

Torku is an FMCG brand in Turkey which offers a wide range of products from meat&dairy to chocolate with its 900k farmer shareholders. During my internship, I have involved in production shift planning, raw material order planning and inventory analysis projects.

Bosch Rexroth is one of the leading companies in drive and control technologies. During my internship, I have involved in process analysing studies with quality management tools such as FMEA, 8D, Ishikawa etc. Additionally, we  implemented a non-destructive product testing method on hydraulic pomp assembly line to ensure the best quality before shipment.
